Craig Buddon Accident and using the crag....

Following on from an accident at Craig Buddon a few weeks ago, it may well be worth giving the crag a bit of a wide berth, or if you are climbing there, keep a low profile.

Of late relations with the owners have been amicable and they have turned a blind eye to climbing, I have certainly not heard of any recent problems, this may cause problems and they may well take action to attempt to fully ban climbing there.

If you are heading down, keep a low profile, noise etc to a minimum, and if asked to leave, do so. Hopefully the dust will settle on this.

The climber involved, as far as I am aware is ok.

I visited Craig Buddon today, there is a shiny new padlock and chain on the gates and two 'no entry' signs, one on the gate and one on a tree. Not sure if this is since the above incident?

Keep a low profile is a very important thing.
