Rock Climbing is an inspiring, exhilarating, exciting, and absorbing sport and you may be surprised to learn that it is one of Europe fastest growing sports. 

To enable you to enjoy this thrilling and rewarding sport and get the most out of your climbing, we offer a whole range of climbing courses in a relaxed, friendly and informative atmosphere.  The courses are designed to promote best practice, giving you the basic rope work skills right through to advanced climbing techniques and everything in between.  Our indoor courses enable you to learn all the basics to give you the ability to climb on artificial climbing walls independently.  Whilst our climbing Insideout courses takes you outdoors, giving you an insight to climbing in the natural and beautiful environment of the British Isles and the skills to embrace the wider world of rock climbing. 

Our friendly team of instructors hold either CWA or SPA  qualifications as well Emergency First Aid certificate. and collectively have over 200 years of experience climbing sea cliffs and mountains of the British Isles, plus most mountain ranges of Europe. 

Where ever you want to take your climbing the choice is yours and our team of instructors will give all the advice & help you need to get there.

Equipment

All the specialized rock climbing equipment is provided for the courses. Equipment is continually maintained and upgraded to ensure safety standards. The usage of every bit of equipment is logged so we can spot any concerns as soon as they become visable.

Course Prices Include:

• Entry to the Tower Climbing Centre.

• Climbing shoes.

• All necessary Rock Climbing Safety Equipment.

• Instructor.

• Full insurance for the duration of the course.

• Climbing Wall Membership subject to completing the appropriate courses.
  
  

Other Sessions

At the Tower we can offer instruction on a more personal basis. This can be done on a 1:1 to a 1:4 basis and is designed to suit your needs, you could look at learning to lead indoors, climbing techniques, or just the basic rope work. 

We also run Taster Sessions. These are designed for the complete novice just to give you an idea of what climbing is all about. You won't learn rope work or how to tie in, they are just a session designed to let you have a go and see if you want to join a course.
